Torr Loisgte

A new week and another Monday walk - we are making a determined effort to get each week off to a good start with a good walk , preferably slightly further afield.

Today we once again head over to Glen Brerachan (which apparently (and aptly)  means the Glen of the Talkative Stream)   to walk through the woods up to Torr Loisgte and some more shielings.

Torr Loisgte means Burnt Hill and is possibly a reference to a place where cooking was done.

The next phase of our explorations is to join up the different areas we've explored over the past few weeks. This will include walking over the wonderfully named  Bealach an t-Sithe (pass of the fairy) which I am rather looking forward to.
