Things To Make And Do

Since early on in the pandemic we've been having supermarket deliveries, which has been great from the point of view of not having to brave the shops, but has had the disadvantage of increasing our plastic footprint via stuff arriving in carrier bags when we'd normally take a reusable bag, getting packaged veg when we'd normally buy loose, etc.  Recently this has been reduced a bit asTesco have given the option of bag-free delivery again, so we just transfer stuff on the doorstep from  their crates into bags we already have to bring it into the house.

Yesterday though, The Bear discovered some manky stinky peas in the bottom of one of these bags, from a packet of frozen peas we bought a couple of weeks back that must have had a hole in that we hadn't noticed, and because the bags had all been bundled up together since then they were all contaminated with manky stinky pea juice and needed a good wash. Here they all are hanging up to dry in the doorway of the conservatory.

This sort of incident is what passes for excitement at the moment.
