Poor Preston ....

He had to go for a check up at our usual vet who confirmed that processionary caterpillars have caused these horrible wounds on Preston, wounds that we couldn’t see because he is so hairy. I took the extra photo on Saturday morning, he looked perfectly fine but by Saturday night we realised that something was wrong with him. He has now slept for two days, just had a 2 minute play with his snow leopard toy. He has to stay in till Saturday taking lots of medication then another check up at the vets’. I sound like a neurotic Mum, and feel like one too. Thanks for all your concern.

Unbelievable amount of snow has fallen in the last 24 hours pushing the avalanche danger to level 4 out of 5 in our local mountains. Poor wild animals too, they were just getting used to spring.
