Birds do feature...

...in today's mono, but hardly take centre stage... sorry Beckett...
On our short bike ride this aft we did see ducks, geese, and peewits and and we heard curlews and skylarks - not an albatross in sight though, and we weren't in the barn owl's territory ;) 
Only a few showers to dodge today, and it was a bit flooded round the res. Called in at the farm on the way back for an outdoor takeaway coffee though - great stuff, as always ;)
