A view of the top end of King St at its junction with Castle St.The grand building with the pillars was designed by Archibald Simpson and is now a pub though started life in 1844 as the headquarters of the Northern Bank. Adjoining this building are the Sheriff Court and the Town House. Archibald Simpson was an Aberdonian who was responsible for designing many of our finest granite buildings.
