Bin there ... tagged that !

These bins on the promenade were originally painted black. Then they were brightened by the giant stickers extolling the need to keep Portobello clean. Now those stickers have been tagged. Some think the positioning of these bins, and their increasingly dilapidated and broken state is worse than the litter they are intended to collect.

Scottish Primary Schools returned to full time school today. T joined a wee socially distanced band of “fun fiddlers” to serenade the children back to school at Towerbank first thing this morning.

Cheltenham race week begins tomorrow. It’s a year on from the controversial event that proved to be a Covid super spreading bonanza. There will be no famous roar from the stands, crazy traffic jams or “Euros welcomed here” at every bar, restaurant shop and hotel this year.
