Duck on the open water

Today was a bright and sunny day. It was cold to start at -10C but got up to 0C by this afternoon. I got down to the lake for a short walk and had a look at all the birds that are returning to the lake. The ice broke up late last eek leaving it open water. This duck as quite happy swimming in the afternoon sun.
