Eider Duck.....

We went down to work on the boat today and were treated to 26 male eider duck and 18 females in the harbour all bobbing around. The males were doing a lot of diving and popping back up and I came to the conclusion it was possible posturing for the females? They have such incredible sharp makings ...I always think they look so smart.
I also managed tp get a photo of Fred basking in the sun in his pond in the garden much to my delight :)
