Time Flies

<rant>
Have spent too much time this morning trying to work out how to remotely control the new toy, Ricoh GRII, without a great deal of success. The only app that they produce doesn't even reach the lofty heights of good design, and constantly says "Function not supported" - useless. The only semi-useful thing they provide is a web based 'app' that really isn't an app at all, but a load of javascript built into a web page. It works, but I would not be wanting to use this when out and about - too complicated for that. Where, oh where are the good software designers these days? They are badly needed!
