Standing out from crowd

This young beech tree stood out amongst all the evergreens in The Golf Course Plantation up at St Ives today. The sun caught it beautifully.
The day started off cloudy but the sun started to break through as I was sat up at The Druids Alter and stayed with me for the rest of the walk.
Finish off in typical fashion with a coffee from The Ivy Kitchen. No gingerbread man today, I’m trying to be good :-)
