Wild Wednesday: "Scene of the crime"

Took Hendricks out first thing to find a mass of feathers on the ground. There two main patches of them, implying the struggle moved around a bit. A couple of weeks ago we saw the buzzard finishing off one of the jackdaws on the bridge before flying off with it, and I guess he must have struck again.

Our first thought was that his had been a pigeon, but instead of grey there seemed to be a lot of white feathers and some black tipped ones. Not sure we want to think there's something out there that would casually take down a gull....!?!
