Crocus Time

Couldn't stay indoors on such a glorious day so we went up to the park to see the crocuses.

I remember the regular holes that had been dug and subsequent planting in October 2017, this is the result. One bed is mixed with dwarf narcissus and the three beds have all established well to make a show that might rival the Meadows.

Along the way I took photos of other blossom, see the collage in the extra 1: Prunus, Primrose and Celandine with a close-up of crocus, and a single ladybird, extra 2.

We also sought the source of the small burn that runs North to the west of the Comiston House stable block - yet another Comiston Spring, although of little practical use. As the path is now called White Lady Walk , we have dubbed it the White Lady Spring.
