At Craven Cottage

L3 Day 87 Cycled to Fulham to see the house in the cemetery that was featured on ‘Grand Designs’ a while ago. Not much to see from the outside so no blip. If you watched the programme you would have seen it had a massive basement made. It is on Fulham Palace Road very near a flat I lived in while a student. Also went round some of the quiet back streets past Fulham Football Ground- Craven Cottage. The blip shows one of the main gates with the statue of Johnny Haynes(1934-2005) who is regarded as Fulham’s greatest ever player. He made 56 appearances for England including 22 as captain. Still not allowed to jog or cycle between 10am and 4pm on the river path between Putney and Chiswick.
