American Goldfinch

Repetition! The original photo is of a wet American goldfinch (it's a rainy day here) showing his breeding plumage starting to come in. Brighter yellow around his throat and on the top of his head the hints of what will be his dark black cap soon. Spring is definitely starting up around here! See extra for the original shot.
