The Insides of my 1974 Amplifier

I bought this amplifier in January 1974  from Comet Hi-Fi Warehouse based in Hull. It cost me £61.50 and the total bill with the Leak Delta turntable was £113.45. In 2009 I had the amplifier repaired by 'London Sound' and it cost £240 ! It's not performing very well again now and I don't know whether to have it repaired again. I took it out of its casing - hence the photo - but it's all gobbledegook to me!
