Chionodoxa Luciliae #2

Thanks to Stiffknees for reminding me what these were called. I posted one almost exactly two years ago. I liked the look of them today with the raindrops still in evidence.

The funeral yesterday was very low key, a very quiet send-off for someone who had achieved a remarkable 103 years. We thought we might not have got there on time when we found our normal cross country route was closed and we had to make a long diversion via the M5. We still arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled time only to find the crematorium gates were closed. Eventually a security guy came and opened up. Strange times.

The FIL's house was fine. We found lots of photos and hundreds of 35mm slides in drawers. We've brought the photos back to sort through but left the slides for now. There must be a projector somewhere, probably in the loft. I remember having to sit through his slide presentations when they came back from their various holiday travels. We're going to be shocked if we find he really had travelled to New York, Australia and the moon.

We managed to get our fish and chips on the way home too!
