Blue letter day

Here’s Miguel, who vaccinated me at the South Gyle COVID vaccination centre today. He was charming and so good at getting the information over and answering my questions too.

It was a great experience, no waiting, and everything was done in a professional and friendly manner.

Our NHS continues to be a marvel.

It’s the weekend, so enjoy, and please be safe and follow the FACTS (Face coverings, Avoid crowded places, clean your hands regularly, two metre distance, and self isolate and book a test if you have symptoms).

In other news, a cruise was booked for the Norwegian fjords at the end of July (to and from Rosyth, Scotland) with no getting of the ship, purely a sightseeing cruise (with full COVID measures including double vaccination jabs having been administered). We are triers, and one of these days we will make it onto a cruise without it being cancelled (fingers crossed).

So all in all it’s been a good day, with hope, and starting to see light at the end of the tunnel.
