New friends

Sooo so so lovely to have Ed here for the weekend! I feel like I know him having met his parents and heard updates of him every week from Danny! Such a thoroughly lovely guy. Both kids have taken to him immediately! So much I could say, so much that feels heartbreaking, but one thing he keeps saying is how he's loving all the colour in our flat and that's he's been starved of all colour for almost 2 years. I'd not thought about that aspect of prison. Well if it's colour he wants he's certainly in the right home!! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) A really kind and encouraging text from the social worker at Cáritas.
2) How much the kids have taken to Ed. 
3) Freedom.
