Look Whose Moved In!

I’m so excited that the owl house that David gave me for my birthday back in January has got its first resident - either Nugget or his wife! Not sure, but it looks like Nugget and he’s not on his usual perch!
Last night at dusk he serenaded us with his beautiful trilling sound - nothing like a “screech” even though he’s called an Eastern Screech Owl! It’s described as a “horse-like whinny” or a “long tremulous trill”.
