Graven

The names of the past chairmen of Essek County Council are engraved outside the door into the chamber, I discovered when visiting today for another scintillating presentation on the re-use of public sector information. They are still doing it - the chair for 2011-12 is freshly carved up there. I wonder that the residents of Essex put up with such lavish trapings in these straightened times!
