BCSplash Showcase - Rob at sunset.

It's the weekend again and time for our new #BCSplash showcase.
If you can't reach a coastline right now, we're bringing the sea to you today.

We selected this stunning image, which was created back in September 2018, partially because it is a wonderful atmospheric photograph, however Aliscotia added a recent note to her journal explaining her reason for retrospectively tagging this entry.

In her own words:
"I've tagged this one for the banner idea as I am missing the sea a lot just now and I think photographers like seeing other photographers taking photos! This is my husband Longshadow, another blipper taking his long exposure shot at Watergate Bay in Cornwall."

As the restrictions slowly begin to lift in some parts of the world, we are sure many blippers share this feeling.

If you don't  know Aliscotia, you must check out her journal. It is a great mix of photos from her daily life, but she specialises in macro photography and we strongly recommend you take a look at her beautifully detailed images of plants and flowers. She was a finalist in the International Garden Photographer of the Year Macro Art competition in 2017 and 2018 and was commended in the "Beauty of Plants" in 2019.

We currently have so many #BCSplash images ready to share over the coming weeks.

We'll let you know when we're running out so you can start tagging your images again. Thank you so much for your support. We love to see you taking part and really enjoy looking through your images.

Thank you again for helping us showcase Blipfoto.
