Carbeth House

Another fine walk from Killearn back to Balfron, but this time via the Carbeth Estate where I passed this listed building.

Carbeth House dates back to the 17th century and was transformed into a castellated mansion in the 19th century. There's a better photo of the front of the building here. It was converted into flats in the 1980s.

Extra  -  no sign of any sheep in the field today, but they had left evidence.
