Dark-eyed Junco

Around this time every year - spring! - I start trying to remember to photograph, or at least note the presence of, a dark-eyed junco - so that I might notice the last time I see one. They'll be leaving soon and heading north to their breeding grounds and I like to try to see if I can figure out exactly when that is. Of course, I might be seeing travelers that are on their way from further south, but still...
