Hodgepodge

Another sunny day, spent home with the kids. They had a quiz competition for school; their team won districts a couple weeks ago and the state tournament was today. They won their first round but lost the second two. A good end to the season. I half-listened from the back room and very much enjoyed sitting in the sun with cat and book.

Had a good catch-up with sis-in-law Marti and some chats with W, who’s driving home tomorrow from Tennessee. Sounds like Harry is weaker. We’re planning to all go down over spring break, week after next.

Felix knocked over our Easter tree of budding forsythia branches, so the vase is now in the kitchen. At least the table got a good wash. :-)
