Essential Travel

Although we were quite early, and the weather was not great, it became apparent that after the sunshine yesterday, a visit to Hazlehead park was considered to be essential travel. Yesterday we had been surprised by the number of cars taking to the roads out of Aberdeen. Today we were surprised to find it was impossible to park at Hazlehead Park. Many cars cruising the car park in the hope of finding a space.

Instead we went to Johnston Gardens, where in comparison there was an oasis of tranquility. The weather in the morning was quite overcast in the morning, though the sun did come out in the afternoon.
