Bach

A 3 x family crowd of us have gone to Pattarau in the Kahurangi National Park for the weekend. The drive through the National park was like going through a film set for Jurassic Park....just minus the dinos! We went to stay in a friends delightful Bach, which is a basic beach holiday house. This one is one of the oldest in the area and was full of a cowboy western type atmosphere! The garden fence is just in the corner of the pic, a path lead straight to the beach, which was as usual enormous, clean, gorgeous and empty. G & T's in hand we watched the sunset from the sand dunes while the kids skidded down them. Blissed out on holiday on holiday!!
