Shrub, Hedge, Plum tree

The view from my study window. I see it every day. But today I was struck by the variety of colour, size and seasonal difference of the three. The blossom won't last long, the hedge will send out its delicate, pleated green leaves and the shrub...well that just stays as it is!

Clare and I had a lovely Springtime walk this afternoon. The sun shone most of the time and there was no wind, not even on the airfield. Long may it remain like this.
