Waterproof boots - not!

It has now rained non-stop for days. We have been lucky with no serious flooding in the district. Sadly that has not been the case for many thousands of people.

I have missed walking for the past couple of days because the rain has been so heavy. However, today I decided to chance it and walked for an hour in my waterproof boots. Well, they're not waterproof anymore. They are soaked throughout. There's so much moisture in the air there's only one place they will dry out - in front of the fire.
