Memorial Day

We managed to get to church before it closed at 6 for a bit of contemplation on the year of lockdown (pretty well).  We contemplated all the people whose lives have been upended, those who have lost loved ones and friends and what prospects for the future, for us or the rest of the world.

And of course we remembered all the heroes and heroines who have worked so dreadfully hard in the most challenging circumstances to treat or support the ones who suffered. 

But for all the seriousness of the milestone, I still thought of using the tranquil scene of the church for today's Blip . . .
