A Bird in the Hand

well not quite. I was walking to the dentist this morning for a 7.30am appointment (who goes this early in Britain?) when I walked past a tree which emitted the sound of one solitary bird. Its call was loud and defied the I-95 traffic. I looked up the trunk of this skeletal tree to see a beautiful red bird. I crept into my bag to grab my iPhone and hoped I could get a shot before the bird flew off.

Very chuffed to show you my iPhone blip. Not the best quality shot but a lovely start to the day :-).
