One year on

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year.
We have been very fortunate and every month that passed we kept saying how grateful we were as a family to have our health, home and secure jobs. Living here with countryside on our doorstep we were able to get out every day and enjoy the fresh air.
It’s not been easy at times. E’s final year at uni has been hard. Working at home has been a challenge at time but we all got through it.
Next week G and I get our vaccinations. There is hope that at the end of next month I’ll be able to see my sister and we’ll be able to get together with our friends again.
Today in school we talked about all of this and the children decided they wanted to join in the minutes silence to reflect .We also made lanterns to to mark the day. They demonstrated such respect at 12. I was so proud of them.
Step count- 12023
