A dog for life

11 years ago today we rescued a young, slightly smelly, very nervous collie (see extra).

What an utterly fantastic decision that was. We went along with the intention of adopting a different collie, but when we met it we just didn't feel it was the dog for us. The collie adoption people then brought out a very nervous, very waggy collie called Rosie who just seemed like the right dog.

So we adopted her, renamed her Molly and she's been brilliant. We are very lucky.

Speaking of brilliant, we've just got Poppy's school report. What a girl, great progress and fantastically positive feedback from her teachers.

They are getting a lot of work set as they come up to their GCSE grading so hopefully this will encourage her to get through it all.
