Forsythia

I never thought of using forsythia for hedging but the entrance to Poloc Cricket car park is bordered by hedges with the yellow flowers just beginning to open.

A good morning with lengthy spells of sunshine and the temperature back up in double figures. All change this afternoon when the dark clouds rolled in bringing showers of rain ... I suppose the garden will be grateful for the drink.
