Rebuffed

I noticed this group of trees while walking across a local golf course (it seems probable that such privileges(?) will not be available to us for much longer now). Call me mad if you wish, but what I see here is a group of friends throwing up their hands in horror and fending off an unwelcome attempt to break into their group. That's perhaps how some of the members might react.
