Through a blender / Durch einen Mixer

Not quite sure what this is, the word blender came to mind, but maybe a mangle, or more of a winch? In any case, you wouldn’t want anything to get caught up in those rusty old cogs!

A hard day, following a first session with mediators yesterday. I had been warned - and so it proved to be - that, whilst important and necessary, it would be “like putting your soul through a blender”.
