Blossom

Hawthorn, I think, but I'm happy to be corrected.

The first tree blossom I have spotted this year (if one discounts catkins). I had a pleasant wander around Rosebank Community Woodland in Denny on Wednesday, and it was while I was walking along the old railway path back into town that I noticed quite a few of the trees were in flower.

There was quite a stiff, and gusty, breeze blowing so it was a matter of going for a high shutter speed and holding the branch with one hand and firing off numerous shots with the other,  I think I got about two decent photos from the lot of them!
