New Normal

This is normal for Rani.  She likes lying on stairs.  It's a pain if you are carrying tea up to your office.  She's not good at getting out of the way.  And I always worry about cats falling. (They haven't yet but you wouldn't bet on Chaiyya to manage that for another 6 months).

It's Thurday evening, I am now finished with work until Tuesday.  I am so looking forward to swathes of nothing. 

I managed to sort something out for a colleague this afternoon.  Took about 10 minutes.  He replied "Du bist schneller als die Feuerwehr" - this is a very German phrase and it means  "You are quicker than the Fire Brigade".  I'll take it.  I am quite good.
