Birnie & Gadden Lochs

Today is another walking day to Birnie and Gadden Lochs. Again over 30 photos taken while walking under a leaden sky.

It did not rain however.

Birnie and Gadden lochs are formed in two sand quarries which have been repurposed as a Nature Reserve.

Much more about these and other Fife Nature Reserves can be found in the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust.

We are planning a picnic lunch. There are many places to sit and enjoy the views around these lochs.

Received another letter from NHS Scotland describing the proposed route out of lockdown and warning me as one of The Shielded that despite receiving the first vaccination, I am still in the high risk category.

The good news is that over 90% of The Shielded have now been vaccinated.
