Bobotie by Hildagonda Duckitt

This is the third entry in my personal calendar challenge; to recreate a recipe from a South African calendar (#calendarchallenge), but not in month order.
 
Bobotie as a dish has featured in these pages before but this one uses a recipe from a South African cook and food writer.
 
Hildagonda Duckitt (1839 - 1905) wrote a number of books and this recipe come from her book "Where is it?",  published in 1891.
 
It is very close the the one I have used in the past.
