Sulphur cosmos

Unlike many blippers, we're not coming out of a particularly dark winter. Nevertheless, today I was drawn to the warming and heartening yellow of this flower, plucked from a nearby garden.

That's three sunny days in a row but many flood affected towns are still under water. The damage to homes, farms, animals and people's spirits is astronomical.
