Millennium Time Trail

Today was another windy day.  We went on a walk down to the end of the path that runs along the opposite side of the river Findhorn.  We saw this Sustrans millennium milepost marker on the way.  This is another one of the four designs they have which are spread throughout the National Cycle Network.  This one was designed by Welsh artist Andrew Rowe and is based upon the nautical and industrial heritage of his native Swansea.  All the milepost markers have a coded disc on them which make up part of a puzzle called the Millennium Time Trail. There are 50 different discs and copies spread throughout the network.  The idea was to take brass rubbings of the discs to work out the puzzle.  You can read about it here.  https://millenniumtimetrail.wordpress.com/about-the-millennium-time-trail/
