Lunch Break

As it was one of the workdays when I hardly left my desk, I can't tell or show you anything exciting.

The weather was quite nice today, so I spent a half hour lunch break on the terrace, and opened the door for the cats.

Rani and Chaiyya love this corner of the garden. The both seem to enjoy sniffing the rosemary more than the catnip, but that may change when the catnip shoots grow bigger.

The last three summers have been so hot and dry, they have killed quite a lot of the perennials we had growing in that sunny corner. 

I'll have to think about sowing or planting replacements, and find heat-loving plants that have a chance to survive in our changing climate...
