After the downpour

I has been an intermittently lovely day with heavy showers.  We decided to venture out a little further to see what we could see of the River Avon not at Stratford.  We went to the old town of Bidford on Avon where there had obviously been a heavy shower but we were into the drying out in the sunshine time.  This swan was taking advantage of the sun to dry his wings out.  Of course, it was a brief moment in time and I wasn't ready to catch it quite quickly enough to get the perfect shot.  I love the way the light comes through the feathers on his wings though.

Dad had his second vaccination this morning so that's another task completed.
