Honey scares the owl

Seconds before this photo was taken a Barn owl flew over the foreground area, Darren immediately stood still so as not to scare it, I obviously didn’t get the memo and kept on walking. Darren sensed that the owl had seen us as it turned and flew out of sight. We waited a few minutes to see if it would come back, but it didn’t. As we continued walking back towards the car, the barn owl made another appearance but it saw us straight away and immediately changed direction, but even a fleeting appearance for Darren is better than nothing.
