Crystal Palace Sphinx

One of the six remaining sphinxes which are remnants of the original 'Crystal Palace' that stood in the park before it was destroyed by a fire in November 1936. The sphinxes were based on the red granite sphinx at the Louvre museum in Paris and are Grade II-listed and were restored in 2016.
