Anatole's blips

Old faithful

My first Canon EOS was the original 650. However, its electronics fried themselves in the humidity of the blue mountains in Australia. I replaced it with a lightweight but simple EF-M. This camera dispensed with the Automatics (which were pretty rubbish then) and just gave you everything you'd ever wanted for a manual film camera. Built in light-metering, aperture and shutter speed off twin dials on top, split prism focus, plus a tiny battery that lasted forever.

Of course, it was 35mm film camera, so now it's a completely worthless trinket, given that you can purchase the best 35mm cameras for almost nothing on eBay.
