Isolating: Morning Light

There were more protests in Bristol. The police response has been brutal. There is no other word to describe it.

Firstly, Avon and Somerset police have been forced to admit that no police officers were seriously injured on Sunday night. No police officer had broken bones, no police officer had a punctured lung, despite reports by senior officers at the time.

Secondly, the protests had been peaceful. The protest only became violent when the police used extreme force to disperse the crowd. This has been confirmed by a number of journalists including the BBC. The BBC  tweeted that everything was peaceful until the police moved in (this tweet was later removed, I don't know why).

Thirdly, the riot police are attacking journalists who are legally covering the story. Many have been led away some have been physically harmed.
