Winter Damage

Dear Diary,

The places around the exterior of the house that need painting are rather extensive this year.  Gracie was kind enough to point out some on the pergola to me.  Some damage is caused by squirrels running along the pergola but most is caused by ice and snow.  Oh, and the occasional Blue Jay that has a fascination for pecking at the frame for some reason.  Sigh... I will need to call David and schedule him later this spring.
