Bonfire

A bonfire one of three today all this size! 

We've tackled some of the hedging over the last month, which has been laid where it can in part and planted new hedging and trees to fill the gaps. The hedge on the left of the shot is only half done because we wanted to preserve cover for the deer further away from the house and give the birds the hedgerow which has overgrown over many years. All new cuttings from the last two weeks so nothing hibernating!

It's been fun choosing the  hedging as obviously we want the wildlife  to come in and feast. Whether it will or not remains to be seen in time.

I'm actually quite knackered and Hubs is pretending he's watching TV but I saw his head nod :))
