Goldfinches

Today's the day ....................... to ignore

So nice to see these guys back on the feeders today.

They used to visit all the time, but recently they have been ignoring us completely.  Perhaps they found better grub elsewhere?  And, actually, as you can see, today they were just on the mixed seed - as opposed to the niger seed, which is reportedly their absolute favourite. 

There's a perfectly good feeder, full of niger seed, just to the right of them - but they've been ignoring that too ...................
